Pemberton

Pemberton Valley is home to the Lil’wat Nation, who settled at the foot of towering Mount Currie and at the head of Lillooet Lake until the arrival of European settlers in the late 1880s.

Today, a wide variety of recreational activities are popular amongst locals. From fishing and horseback riding in the summer, to backcountry skiing and snowmobiling in the winter.

As with the rest of the Sea to Sky, Pemberton has a thriving arts community. Artists and artisans work in a variety of mediums including music, theatre, photography, literary, culinary, textile & interactive arts. If you are a creative adrenaline seeker, Pemberton is the perfect spot to elope!
