This couple is getting married in 2026, and spending this time together before their wedding was wonderful. Engagement sessions aren’t just about the photos, although you’ll absolutely love those too, they’re about getting to know each other and getting comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. By the end of our time together, it felt like friends hanging out more than a photoshoot, which is exactly how I want it to feel!

One of the best parts of this session was having a full two hours together. That extra time meant we could explore more than one location without feeling rushed. Whistler is perfect for this, with so many stunning spots close together. We started at the river, which is always one of my favourite places for engagement photos. It’s quiet, peaceful, and incredibly beautiful. After that, we headed to the beach for a totally different vibe. This spot at Green Lake in Whistler is such a fun contrast to the river. There is so much space here to run around and get movement style photographs. This style of engagement photos bring so much life and personality into a gallery and are always a favourite for couples who want their images to feel natural and fun.

By the end of the session, they were completely comfortable, relaxed, and confident which is exactly why engagement sessions are so valuable.
